报告题目：Developing new treatment strategies for emotional brain disorders

报告摘要：Worldwide, mental disorders have become an important health issue. Most prevalent are disorders that involve dysregulations of the emotional brain circuits such as mood disorders or addiction. The present talk will present recent findings on brain-based markers for depression, substance-related addictions and Internet gaming disorder. In this context, innovative brain modulatory treatment approaches such as the intranasal application of the neuro-hormone oxytocin or real-time fMRI neurofeedback will be discussed.

报告人简介：Benjamin Becker博士，电子科技大学生命科学与技术学院&神经信息教育部重点实验室教授，国家青年千人计划入选者。Becker教授的主要研究方向为：通过认知与情感神经科学研究，揭示情感障碍及精神疾病的内在神经机制和生物学标记，推进此类障碍的早期诊断，并据此研发包括催产素及实时神经反馈等在内的新型治疗手段。至今已在American Journal of Psychiatry，Biological Psychiatry，PNAS, Brain，Neuropsychopharmacology等国际顶级期刊上发表论文38篇，其中16篇论文为第一或通讯作者。他目前担任American Journal of Psychiatry, NeuroImage, Journal of Neuroscience, Biological Psychiatry, Addiction, Schizophrenia Research, Cognitive, Affective and Behavioral Neuroscience等17本期刊的审稿人。
